Working of S-1800: Wedge set inserted in pre-drilled hole of 126 -133 mm diameter& 2700 mm deep. S-1800cylinder pushes centre wedge between two counter wedges. Which applies a 5500 tons of splitting force on sidewall of rock hole, resulting in splitting of rock without any noise and vibration. The splitting operation time for a singlehole is 60 secs.
